The Lost Reaches: Brood Tide

Privacy policy

For the game The Lost Reaches: Brood Tide and the website kavidforge.com. Last updated 5 November 2026.

Kavid Forge Studios, an independent studio, makes The Lost Reaches: Brood Tide and runs this website. We are responsible for the information described here. This page explains what the game and the website handle, and why. Questions go to [email protected].

The short version

The game

Saves and settings. Your campaign progress, your saved battle and your settings (such as graphics quality) are stored in the game's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in Android's settings, deletes them.

No ads, no analytics, no accounts. The game shows no advertising and contains no analytics or tracking tools. There is no account or sign-in. The game does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.

Downloads and purchases. You get the game from Google Play. The optional high-definition texture download is delivered by Google Play as well. When you buy the full campaign, Google Play processes the payment; we never see your payment details. Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy. Google Play shows us summary reports, such as install and sales numbers, and crash reports from devices whose owners have chosen to share diagnostics with Google. These reports do not tell us who you are.

The newsletter

The signup form is part of our own page: nothing loads from MailerLite until you press the button. When you do, your email address goes to MailerLite, the service we use to send our emails. MailerLite also records when you signed up and confirmed, and the IP address used, as a record of your consent. You confirm your address by clicking a link in a first email before we send anything else. The form may also note which of our links brought you to the site (for example, the link under one of our videos), so we can see which videos bring people here.

We email you because you asked us to (your consent). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, MailerLite keeps the address marked as unsubscribed so you are not emailed again, unless you ask us to delete it completely.

We use your email address only to send news about our games. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else. MailerLite can tell us whether an email was opened and which links in it were clicked.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] to be removed or to have your address deleted completely. MailerLite handles your data under the MailerLite Privacy Policy.

The website

This website has no advertising and sets no cookies. Its pages, fonts, images, video clips and press-kit downloads are served from our own site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Visit statistics. We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you: it records which pages are viewed, which site sent you, and your browser type and country, and shows us only totals.

The trailer (YouTube)

The trailer players on this site show a still picture and a play button. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and information about your browser and device, and may store information on your device, under the Google Privacy Policy. If you would rather not, you can watch the trailer on YouTube directly or not at all; the rest of the site works the same.

Emailing us

If you write to [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your email address and your message, and we use them only to answer you. Mail to those addresses is forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare.

Children

The game itself collects no personal information from anyone, children included. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up for the newsletter.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you (at most your email address and the signup details above), ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days.

Changes

If what the game or the website handles changes, for example when new features are added, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
